Ill PM ya the link.
The tubs wont crack, they are plastic and flexible. Plus they will never hit a rock, the trailer is just for show. It will hardly ever get drove, and when and if it does it will be on pavement, with the lift kit thats on it, well its a lot ways from hitting any rocks. |

nope. going to keep this one clean and un-sponsored.
Theres a couple bodys i plan on buying that are rally car replicas. One being USA Rally Team, and Another World Rally team. So ill get both different type of logos eventually, so im just going to enjoy the pearl white for now Heres an update. I finished fabbing on the wheels. Found the set up i wanted for the tires so they are the perfect thickness now. not so thick they are rubbing (well...) but not as thin as the standard tire. So they give it a nice little bit of more ground clearance as well. I had to do a little shaving on the body but nothing major. Heres a few pictures compared to a normalish ride height suby. So as everything sits right now... Trailer is 99% finished. Just need to build the hitch for it once the truck is done. Car Suspension/Body work/Appearance are 100% Finished. Only thing left to do is add in my 2x2 stack FETs, Custom Motor, and Lithium Bats, Which are all in the mail on their way. Should be done by saturday at latest. Hummer is well.... 10% finished? lol Parts are on their way to wrap it up! just waiting for them to arrive! |

Well rather sad update today....
ill start with the good stuff first. Painted the orange lift kit white to go with the theme better. Ive finished the hummer for a temporary basis. My money is better well spent in other places right now. So the hummer will be "slapped together" and called good for now. It needs 2 cans of paint and a quart of bondo before the body work is actually finished, but it will do for now as is. The day got better when my FET's showed up in the mail today. Cost $14 So i went about installing them. EPIC. FAIL. I do not have the patients nor the steady hand nor the good eyes to pull something that small off. And i think i fried my car... It no longer works. So i boxed it up and its getting sent off to the professionals to get looked at, and hopefully fixed. So i took these as some Funny/Teaser Photos. ill keep ya update as how the car turns out and whats wrong with it, hopefully nothing major. If i fried the electronics though. i might just switch to a mini z board or something. Cross your fingers for the best! Last edited by SPR; 11-19-2008 at 11:54 PM.. |

enjoyRC iwaver mod-board FTW!!
it's chaper to buy than a mini-z board, and you can just buy a replacement iwaver controller to go with it, and you'll be tearing the course up with precision. the mini-z board might be better than the iwaver board, but not by much, and the mini-z board/remote combos are hella expensive...200 bucks...unless you use the mini-z ASF kit that includes the ASF radio. 160 bucks. (meh, not much less) the iwaver board is about what...30-50 bucks? but yeah. hope to see it rockin' soon. you prolly fried the drive fets, and i got extra if you want some. i'll be generous and replace both stacks and transplant a 2x4 from my truck (my truck doesn't need that much) if you just send them to me.

hey i already responded to your PM about this, but thanks so much im just waiting your response.
Ill check into Iwaver boards if replacing my stacks doesnt fit the problem. Which im hoping it will since the steering works... Its gotta just be a bad solder job on my part lol. Hopefully you can get it back to running soon! |

first off, you did a beautiful job on the white sti, but im not diggin' the under chasie plastic stuff, with the work that you put into that car, i believe you could have done i little better on that plastic under chasie, IMHO
