its a real subaru carbon fiber hood. it was on a car that was front ended, and the hood kinda folded in half. the kid flattened it back out and from the top side all you can really tell is the clear coat kinda cracked, but the underside the mold cracked, so its not really in perfect shape, but it makes a great display. it had a massive CF scoop on it, and i bought the whole thing for $100 bucks, then sold the scoop to a friend for $100 bucks. so came out even and just kinda used the hood as a wall decoration/car show display. then i thought hey what a cool setting to take pictures with, and i use my one black accent wall in my house for the background, turns out kinda nice. |
