The new Hennessy Venom is estimated to go 260mph, but then again, no one actually tested that yet. But it's on a extended Lotus Exige chassis, with a LS9 dropped in the rear. Making 1200hp with a claimed 0-60 in 2.9. Also just weighing in at 2500lbs. I'll take two.

Or is it the SSC ultimate Aero TT which has a top speed of 256.18 mph but again not sure if it ever actually made it into production.... stupid supercars somebody builds a new one every few minutes.

Then in terms of fastest non-production car I think it's the Thrust SSC hich has a top speed of 760.343 mph.... and that's without NOS.
I don't think it ever happened. I haven't heard recently, but I remember the press releases about it's claimed top speed a few years ago.

http://www.autoblog.com/2006/07/21/b...mph-top-speed/

But, the car was never verified to go that fast to my knowledge. Just another shot in the wind.

but the thrust was powered by TWO turbojet engines and had solid titanium wheels, so that's not very fair. gotta have rubber and a non-jet or rocket type engine for me to call it a car.

the brabus looks like they stuck a saleen s7TT front on a zonda rear and called it a day.

Thats what i always thought about the TKR. i never heard anything about it. but to my knowledge the fastest production car right now is the SSC ultimate areo with the 257MPH top speed. they i believe are ordered then built(but not too sure) and the average price is a hair over 500k if i remember right might be alittle over 600k. with manual steering and brakes as well. if again i remember right.

If the TKR was really that great, the media would still be buzzing about it. Like the Veyron, which occasionally gets into automotive new sites. But the TKR, read about it once and thats all.

The TKR never made it to production. Obviously something that phenomenal would've been covered relentlessly by the press. The most you can find now is 4 year old press releases.

In other words, Barabus was talking out their *** to drum some attention their way.

Alright Guys thanks for the helpful stats proving my point. I appreciate it.

Now heres another Question What was the most expensive Reventon sold for?

I say that they are all 1.6 mil. he says that one was sold at an auction for 15 million. THE ONLY way that is possible is if it was the proto. I don't believe thats the case?

I haven't heard of a Reventon selling for more then 2 million, so 1.6 million is about right. And for 15 million ? I believe a Shelby Cobra Daytona sold for that amount awhile ago.

Bottom line, your friend isn't the brightest one when it comes to cars.

But it's not. The Holden Ute Maloo is faster, with less horse power, and tows more if I'm not mistaken.

Also, your friend is retard. Stop talking to him about cars.
