Looing good! One question - why mask off the roof before black? Coundn't you have sprayed the whole thing light gunmetal, then just go over the gunmetal with black?

But, hey, whatever works. Keep it up!

Hey man great paint job, great color choice, thats the color STI i am on the hunt for, nice detail on the black roof i'd go with black rims to match...sorry to hear of your rollover and string of bad luck hope you are on your way to speedy recovery...

because thats a waste of expensive paint. I spent 31 bucks on paint today. and all i bought was Red, Black, Gun Metal, Tint.

The nice thing about my "office/workshop" is it was a added on room from what my house originally was, so they people that did it, did a base board heater. So i can crank that up, and keep that room at about 75 degrees for a good temperture, and not have to heat my whole house at 75 killing my electric bill lol.
ill have to try that trick for the moving in and out thing. but i bet you stay really warm in the room, right now as we speak(taking a break) we (my dad and i) are building a new room for me. i plan on putting one of the base board heaters in, work table and stuff like that, but its not finished so i dry my paint in the kitchen. but i'm certainly going to try that.

yeah it works quite slick. Dont have to smell paint fumes (to bad anyway) and you can still turn out a quality paint job.

So as for an update...

The final coat of black has been layed. with a thin layer of clear. im going to let everything dry over night, and all day tomorrow (ill be gone all day at a car show)

So sunday night, or some time monday, ill reviel it

Ooo, nice color. My store seriously only had that "primer" gray. I even asked for a gun metal like color, blah!

Loving it so far though! <3
