Updateddd once again:

I seem to have misplaced the original windows for this (FFFFFFFFFUUUUUU-- I KNOW.)
so I 'tried' to make new ones.

and more putty:

working on the back once again

then added more plastic (lexan) to make a lip (not done)

overall stance

front

and another action shot

also, WOO! got a cutting board HAHA. (i never really used cutting boards. the blade usually lands on my thumb [and on occasion, a little bit of blood here and there])

It seems that that one will be a WHC ("Wanna-Have-Car")

Keep it up!

small but significant update:
smoothing out the whole front half, and minor work at the back (still needs touching up).

OMG!!

That is so awesome!

What chassis are you using?

And is there any chance that you are going to make the rear spoiler thiner?

Thanks for the comments guys!

@ mini-z drift, the chassis is an AWD mini-z with 2.5W rims all around.

Update: more work, but taking shape on all areas now

here, i shaped the front wheel arches to have a more consistent curve

and here, im working on the rear diffuser.

im making the diffuser attached to the rear chassis bumper just to save some 'space' issues.
if you look at the last photo, you might understand.

and a little birthday present from myself to myself, minus the putty...who knows what im going to do with this?

Your either one, going to make it as a lexan body with the casting resin, or make it so you can make multiple bodies and sell them... Or Two, you are going to strengthen the hell outta that body, and use it for racing...

My only guesses...

Tom.

^ well there are two intentions, and both of you got the obvious
'reproduction to sell'.

MY MAIN REASON was because I'll be making different widebody Altezzas. I just
want to make a general cast to base it off of so that I can minimize my labor time.

As for selling, i managed to get enough money to make a couple copies
(depends how demanding my finished product turns out) and probably sell
(if the outcome is good). If the resin cast is durable and can withstand a normal
mini-z body's racing strain, I'll reproduce maybe a maximum of 15-25 of this hks.

If I can and if I have people interested, I'll also make copies of other cars which
may be in demand, like the 2002 (not 03 re-release) supra, 2000/2002? nsx,
tom's altezzas, my 350z nismo bodykit, or hakosukas. we'll see

Now see if this was Facebook I would have clicked the 'like' button about 1000 times, if not more...

That is an amazing idea man. I'd be intrested in buying one if I had a Mini-Z for sure.

Good luck man!

Tom.

Once again, another update!
I need to do a coat of primer, fill any flaws, then all that stuff.
- the front has been shaped slightly but for a more natural look (idk if you'll spot it)
- front and rear fenders need a little more putty / sanding.
- front fenders need one more set of body lines.

dont mind the mount. I'm headed to the university I wanted to apply to today and am going to seek some 'professional' help/critiquing/advice.

Primed! (Might make a mold from how it is now. its missing two circular
vent holes from the front intercooler vent. as well, its missing hood scoops
and hood body lines. this body might fall apart with any more work.)

oh i hate sanding -_-

Just curious, can you get a picture of how wide those rims are next to the xmod rims?

paint is going to be a champagne color (as per request of the GF). I don't have the tools to make hks decals.

Diffuser finished

dont you hate cameras? to the untrained eye, this is evened out, minus the little slant on the left side.
its so much worse on macro, when it really doesnt look like it IRL.
