redcat racing makes it. and did you see the videos? i drive the hell outta this. just with these pics your seeing about 55 bucks worth of tires and rims, and the new parts i showed a pic of, and i spent 45 minutes cleaning the parts i am not replacing, and cleaning and lubing the diffs.
well i got it back together. my dog took off with one part of the air filter so i have to pic up a new on of those. wells heres some pics

body mounting hole is pretty much toast on left.

yay, found some shocks that will work on this. now she doesn't ride the ground, and it actually has a shock effect, not just spring back up.
check out the ground clearance now

Man Zippo, I have to admit, you turned that truck into one nice nitro. It went from ugly, to AWESOME.
It looks a lot higher up now. You'll have to get a video of it.

yeah it turned out very nice. almost dont wanna mess it up now. lol. but i think this weekend i'll run it around and see how she acts. i still dont have any foams for these tires. and the hobby shop doesnt have any right now. been out for a week or 2. hopefully they have some in friday when i stop. if not i guess ill just have to make some.

im checking into paddle tires for when it snows. but the ones they had last week are gone now, and they were 20 a set. i have been doing some searching on ebay and the net and found 4 paddles tires for a little over 30 http://cgi.ebay.com/Pro-Line-Sand-Pa...1%7C240%3A1318 . and some beadlock rims for under 20 a set http://cgi.ebay.com/Axial-Rockster-B...d=p3286.c0.m14. so for about 70 bucks it will be ready for the snow.

the last one i had did fine. you just have to adjust the carb to run in the colder temp, and watch out for slush, dont want to get water in the air filter if you can help it. wouldn't hurt to make some sort of airbox to keep the snow and slush from getting in the air filter.

Oh Redcat Racing, nice! Oh so you do run it hard lol. Run it harder! Lol j/k run it however you want. I like that new body but if you want a tad bit more power, get an aluminum tuned pipe. Gettin one soon for my Nitro Pede.

well the ground clearance helped me today, found a nice hill to go up. rocks, loose dirt, big flat rocks. it was a blast.
i finally got this tuned it to where its consistantly running the same. and within a 1/16 of a turn for peak performance from hotter days to coler days. all it took was a bigger bore carb to feed this beast.
here's pics of todays carnage. i didnt take the camera with as the batteries were dead at the time.

only damage from today to speak of, broke the body mounting post

^^after was a brand new filter before running

below is some brand new filters

did away with the pull start, dang thing would kill my finger pulling it. now it has a tiget start system on it. works great now i use my drill to start it.

heres another pic of the broken post.
