for the front lip you should try to shape it using heat in some way. like try microwaving a bowl/cup of water and dip it in there.
looks like you might have a hard time getting that slight bend in there otherwise. either way looks good man, keep it up. |

You know those days where you're working on your car, and all of a sudden you notice a crack and find it to be a dismal crack? Of course, you let it be.
Then a couple days later it becomes extremely unbearable that you have to rework that whole section.. that's me with the darn hood -_-. update for ya guys (might update every day for the next four days. thank God for that) sideskirts! 1:28 scale Nismo advert? haha im enjoying this project. its turning out much better than the ER (ill be finishing the last parts for it in the summer).

I've been watching this thread recently, and I must say, this one my favorite out of all your projects. For the cracks, you can try to apply some krazy glue to fill up those area, then sand them down when it get dry.
I'm looking forward to see more update of this, keep up the good work!

you probably can get away with using krazy glue gel without the plastic backing. it's what i use to seal my puttywork, and it works pretty well thought it seems like a cheap fix. it's plenty strong

These are gonna be the last updates for june. July and august ill be going full out on these projects.
Ive finished work on the pesky hood, front bumper (90%, i need grille details, and this time i wont skip on detail because I'm going to apply for an art school in a years' time, and this'll be part of my portfolio) , and sideskirts. the rear bumper is still in its planning stages. everything else is sanded and the custom parts have been primed. progress comparison vs Constructive C&C, or just simple feedback is appreciated!

For the rear bumper I would shorten it up just a notch, but other than that it looks great

I tried applying some paint. hardly any orange peel. if anything, its nothing light sanding wont fix. -just painted the hood, front fenders, and bumper (not in picture...i was thinking of spraying what SHOULD be gunmetal, black..but didnt. ill wait til i have the time to buy some) -that hood will be fixed, just in case any of your OCD manages to notice and pick on it :P
