Mine just started making the same sound today after i took off the 4wd. Mine only does it when it is on the ground and the body is on it. Any ideas why? I have a stock motor and i know it has the right spacers and the gear isnt stripped.

well i solved the problem either lock your diff. or in my case the problem was that the nubs at each end of the dogbones got worn dont so the diff. cant turn it

well i had the same problem and all i did was tighten up the thing that holds the motor in place and it worked
