Default How should I go about fixing paint jobs

I recently pained my RSX and turned it into my Integra Project, well I have a couple areas where paint bled into, such as the rear window and taillight. I'm currently using nail polish remover to get rid of the paint, my question is what should I use afterwards to fix up or touch up the weird marks left on the rear windshield.

first off, stop using nail polish remover to "fix" things.
acetone literally eats paint. you not fixing anything, only making it worse by smearing it around.
to fix your problem you need to invest in some sandpaper.(should have from the start)
remask the back window but do it in the oposite order that you did in the first place.
you want the body masked and the window left uncovered this time.
this will prevent you from scratching up your body paint.

fold some 400g sandaper about 3 times to give you a good stiff edge to sand with.
wetsand the bleeding until it's gone.
now if you've sanded through the black then you need to respray it.

for the tailight you should use some 2000g followed by a mild rubbing compound and next time remember to remove them.

cheers,
bondo
