Mine should be here tomorrow. I'll post pics and do a comparison/writeup to see how you guys feel about it. They supposedly want our input for improvement on the Xmods. I'm sure they'll hear a lot of stuff they don't want to.

we dont know that just yet. the chassis itself might perform a lot better. the body's being non-scale is a -1, but it just allows for more custom bodied projects.
xmods were $60 before they were disconitued

So far:
Pros- Very responsive Good suspension geometry Range isn't terrible Cons- With the regular rear end and AA batteries, it's terribly slow When turning the wheels, lock to lock, the front lower A arms wiggle on the metal rods that hold them in place. I can see that wearing out Regular rear end doesn't have a differential, it's full time posi I'm afraid to jump anything with it, because the front and rear slide into the main chassis, and lock in with 4 screws. More to come this weekend. Video of running with the new motor, on a stand. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...8¬if_t=like Rear end breakdown: 370 size motor. Rear gears. No differential... Spur gear and gear that meshes up to the drive gear for the wheels... Stock motor, compared to the Losi 370 Frenzy motor, found in the Mini LST. Same can size... Plug connections for the motor... Cut the plastic cover over the heat sink, I think it's better off in open air than being encased, especially because that Losi motor gets hot. Losi aftermarket springs for the Mini T. Fits perfectly: Losi spring spacers fit onto the shock body for adjustability: Losi motor soldered up to the factory leads going to the plug Stock spring on the right, aftermarket Losi spring on the left...much better |

Why would the gear it up so high? A bigger pinion and a smaller spur would add ATLEAST 50% more speed....

So, the spur gear is obviously waaay too big. AA battery pack and Losi Frenzy 370 motor:
