Project - Restoration

[All_Xmods]

Like many of you, I am not lucky enough to get these xmods in new/mint condition, nor do I have enough funds for them new most of the time.

But I do get some deals from time to time, on some messed up / scratched / or project bodies.

I thought I should try to restore them a little bit, with the little spare time I have.

Here are a couple of rare pieces I have.


White Subaru with C-West side skirt and rear bumper



Not much to do with this one besides finding the stock pieces.
The body is nearly mint with a couple of very thin scratch lines.


Heavyly raced Orange HPI with stripped hood and front bumper.



Will try to get a hood for it, and replace or recolor/redraw some of the decals.


White NSX project - Spray painted blue than silver.






Basically will sand it down to the white, and apply a white coat to get it white again.
Did one similar with a yellow one, from way back in the days and installed the white kit just like this.
It was a pain to match the paint. And now I couldn't remeber where I got the paint, nor do I rember the paint code.


Blue Z project



Not too much plan for this one cuz I don't know how to match this blue.

Will try to update this as I find time to work on the restoration.

By legit, if you mean if this is an Xmods body, then yes, it is legit.



Here is a little update on the White Subaru.

September wasn't too nice, but I did get a pair of the stock skirts from a package, sent by the Xmods ALL MIGHTY!

Now I just need a stock rear bumper, and maybe a less scratched front bumper. Let me know if you have or seen them around.

Looks nice man! Id love to get my hands on a white STI. Keep it as long as you can haha.
