Track help

I got a new miniz today and i want to make a track in my basement.
the cars that will be used on it are
micro t
1/24 sct(losi)
3x xmods
2x minizs

i need help on material and dimensions for the track

and my budget is gonna be 60 dollars so rcp is not an option

2 cheep options

1/ low pile carpet (the sort used in offices)
2/ lino flooring (get the sort that is foam backed)

i like option 2 because you use the foam side for racing then flip it over and use the "real" side for drifting

i was looking for foam floor but i want to know anyone knows any track layouts for a 9*9 square with a 4*4 square making an L shaped room

just draw it out on a bit of papper and keep messing till you find a layout you like

there are no set layouts
