mycro's Legacy Rustler
here is my 1/10 scale legacy model rustler(ignore the hole in the original body.. cousins used it as a beater for his xxx-nt
Upgrades: I went from the stock Stinger motor to the Trintiy Stock Monster Pro Switch from an MSC to an ESC: Novak Cyclone proline dirt hawgs proline f150

hey guys i shot a video of my driving my rusty...
IM running a 3300 MaH NiMh (8.4v?) 6 cell pack the original upgrades are listed in the thread above the battery is around 40% charge(its an estimate, it had started going a bit slower when i started to record this, so i figured 40% should be about right) I also bought the stock xl-5 rusty front wheels(2.8, up from a 2.2) http://s326.photobucket.com/albums/k...t=rustyvid.flv -EDIT: ignore the part when i zoom in, my camera was acting up.. and wouldnt zoom out nvm its a 7.2v

If it is six cell it is 7.2V (1.2v/cell).

UPDATE:
I switched out a few things  this is now the new "contraption" to keep the battery down(and maybe a bit cooler)  thats the bottom  really strong bumper...  fully compress  no compress   erm i think i found my old "slicks"? rofl they look funny compared to the dirt hawgs   no compression w/ body  full compression w/ body  yea i got xl5 rims/tires up front here is a vid

im gonna bring this baby back from the dead...
no longer for sale.. its coming back from the dead AFTER finals..           enjoy pix for now and watch the video.. posted in the post before this onemods can u switch this thread to the general 1/10 scale section?

2/3 items are here!
bearings are somewhere between Malaysia and my house -__-   i had a little surprise, my grandma gave me $10 for no reason, lol so i used it to get it to my house faster  a package inside the package BUT!, before the package came, i made a new battery hold down for the rear and and removed that "contraption"   cut out and holes made(2 of the wholes were out of line, but then again, i only needed 2 holes in the first place to hold it down  ) all mounted up      a toothbrush, and about 30 mins laters, my rear shocks were clean (i only bothered to take pics of the first clean shock)     the rear shocks are filled with 45wt oil, i will rebuild the front's tomorrow   BAM! new motor, im gonna break it in tonight comments and questions are welcome!

ill stick with my 14x2
i broke it in, now... another problem... my servo is very weak, my steering set-up is literally gonna fall apart, my car cant even make a normal turn without me running to go turn it, and i need a zip tie... FML D:
