Well got some of the stuff today. The steering links and wheels.
The links seem fine. I like how they screw into the servo connector thing.. The stock one just popped on and off. They look good too. I got the wheels. Dang, these things are sexy. I thought they were just all black, but the gun metal beadlock is awesome. They weigh more too and are real beadlocks.

Well it may be only 3wd for the moment, but it is still fun to crawl around. Although it's like if you take one wheel away, your almost crippled lol.
Took several pics today because I was bored. Also had a shock pop off from it flexing to much and then torque twist helped pop it off. Going to lower the body soon, and see if I can't get stiffer springs or maybe go 4 link to help torque twist. My favorite pic of the group

Well decided to do some work on the MRC. I removed the battery tray and moved the ESC and receiver down lower. I moved the shocks to the first hole of the chassis and I think it lowered it a little. I used some antenna tube off another RC to limit the shocks. I used 1/4 tube for each shock. I also lowered the body by 3/4th inch. The receiver sits on the front Y link and the ESC sits on the rear y link. I have the battery on the rear axle, which I'm debating whether or not I should move it to the front...
I also wrapped the front wheels 3 times with solder. Can't wait to get the bent links and metal lockers in it.

Got the high clearance links on and my front metal locker installed. I'll probably get the rear in tomorrow then go crawl it and take some pics.

The diffs were always locked, but the plastic one in the front finally decided to go... Metal lockers won't do that though.
It's so nice to have 4wd back. I really only had 3wd with the broken locker.

oh.. in that case.. 4wd makes a huuuuge difference from 3wd also lol, im sure u can tell
i can imagine... ur climbing rocks, and u get stuck with the one wheel that isnt working on actual rocks and its the only wheel getting traction, lmao

With the bent links you'll notice a huge difference in what it can get over, and it won't get stuck as much. When the micro Scaler ran links out back after I bent them, there was a BIG difference in what it could and couldn't climb over.

More weight up front is helping a bunch too. I can climb pretty steep stuff, but my right front wheel still likes to pop up in the air. Darn TT.

Well got a new phone and it takes better pics so I thought I would take some pics of the new tires. I still haven't gotten around to putting that rear metal locker in... oh well.
The darn battery up front keeps it from flexing if I mount the body lowered. Gotta figure out something to remedy this. Pics make the tires look dirty.. but they haven't even touched rocks yet.. lol

Did more work last night. I moved shocks to the outside, mounted the battery on the front y link, moved the receiver on top of the tranny, and put the ESC on the back y link. I also had to flip the tranny to allow enough room for the battery. I really like this setup and it seems more stable.

Went crawling down at the creek by my house. I was pretty impressed with the Chisels, I could climb rocks really well even when they were wet.
