most of the body work is done (still going to form up the front end a lil more). laid down some primer to see better what needs to be sanded more. going to finish the paint tomorrow.

laying down the mold for the front end

and filling the back end

the front being formed

and the back end being formed

this one was actually a lot of work to lower. for the front i just flipped the front clip and in the rear i cut out the rear window and made a lil spacer under the trunk to the rear clip and super glued it together. the hard part was that when i mounted it i noticed that the body sat a lil forward on the chassis making the wheels off-centered in the wheel wells, so i had to trim the bottom of the front clip completely flat and trim about 3-4mm from the front of the clip. then i cut out the top of the slot the clip slides into on the inside of the body. after that i used some plastic medal to extend the trunk area into the inside of the body to give me extra area for the rear clip to mount to. i will post the pics of all this when i get home tonight after work so this will all make a lil more sense.

actually, what you should do is sand the place where the rear clip screws onto. that way you can keep the windows and still lower the rear to match the front.

Stuff likes this makes me wish I could afford a real car lol...kinda why I got into the hobby, until I can get the Subaru Legacy around the corner from my house...I have to settle with RCs. Looks good though man...I have a GTR that I wanna do up like yours there.
