1/10 Rc?

Im think of getting a gas powered RC truck and since you people know alot about RC im wondering what i should get i want something thats fast out of the box is durable that i can jump and drive the $&#* out of. I'm not afraid to spend some money up front (under $750) but i dont want to do have to do to much moddifing. Im just wondering whats a good brand and model cause i know next to nothing about these.

for a nitro.. are u open to 1/8 scale aswell?
for 1/10 id say get a rc10gt2 or a savage.. both a strong as poop and cheap parts to replace
for 1/8 id say get a losi 8ight and ur good.. lol not a truck, but i think they have the truggy version of it

and ur not gonna get much speed out of a nitro w/o modding it. nowadays, with the money spent on a nitro, u can get a faster electric
