check out what I just baught for $25
I'm not much into boats but when I saw the price I was interested.http://dealer.megatech.com/itDetail.asp?it=MTC7711
I looked up a few vids of it on youtube and it looks pretty quick for it's size...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWfl3...eature=related They say it comes with everything including battery pack, charger, and carrying case. We'll see how nice it is in a few days. It's costing me the same price as my propulses did, and if it's as nice as they are I'll be pleased. Edit: I just found a video of one of these things on lipo!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ysjA...eature=related I guess the guy also changed the prop and shaft. I wonder how fast it will be when I just drop a 2s lipo in it. I was already thinking about a cheap brushless combo for it.

Hey I remember those. Tower always had them in their catalogs...I always thought they would be cheaper than they were (like $80?) and now I guess they are. I think it would be ok to call them "hobby grade" seeing as you can do a fair bit of stuff to them. I'm interested to see how this plays out, I like boats .

I'm curious on what kind of radio it's equipped with, I'm hoping it's like the propulse and will have an FM radio.
I'm just glad that it can handle 2s lipo voltage(8.2-7.4v) It appears to come with a 5 cell NiMh pack(6v). As soon as I find out the dimensions of the stock pack, I'll find a proper 2s lipo pack for it.
