went to the carboot today after about 2 year. picked up a like new dremel for £5 :O and the paints i normaly get are 150ml for £3.99 each but at carboot its was same paints but 400ml cans for £2.50 each + they had matte black . UNFORTUNATLY THE CLEAR WAS A GLOSSY ONE BUT ONLY USED ON HOOD BUT ITS REALLY MESSED UP AFTER SANDING BECAUSE THE PLASTIC SANDS EASY, IF ANYONE HAS A 1/24 REVELL DODGE SUPER BEE HOOD LIKE THE ONE PICTURED BELOW THAT THEY DONT USE PLEASE PM ME.
i am slowly drifting towards electronics now, i am going to have to do fabricating to fit the servo somwhere maybe in front gearbox as its not being used. anyway will this setup work with a 40000 rpm 130 motor run by a 7.4v 2200mah battery pack? I decided to use the left over mettalic silver from the mustang project except this time i followed the paint tutorial and wet sanded after the first coat (only had enough left for 1st coat). i think either flat or glossy black for hood though? |

So... revell couldn't replace my parts so i got another car by old amt the 1970 charger fast and furious kit which is basicly the 1969 kit with a few more bumpers but im not going to build as the fast and furious model. The plan was just to build it at first but as its old amt most of it is rubbish. the bodys good apart from the molding lines and imperfections but thats not a problem.
So i need to get a new truck chassis now for this. |
