I think those bigger ones go into the tranny, more specifically for the diffs.

We don't differ in that respect, I love racing as much as the next guy (Although Im still a bit on the week side) and I have a a few MR02's, MA010's and 2 MRCG's that I use for that. But I also like modding, and building my own custom builds and chop shopping. Xmods are good for that side of my hobby because they are cheap and I would never chop up a Mini-Z...

update
got the gearbox in, looks awesome
let the pix speak for themselves, for the spur gear, the shaft now uses ball bearings rather than brass bushing(forgot to take a pix of the bearing, was too excited)
sorry they kinda shiny , i am not liable for eye damage rofl

got a small problem, for the bigger pinion gear, i have pushed it as far away as possible from the spur, but it sounds like it is binding, but it doesnt seem like it is, is this normal for an unused pinion?

Hmm... Maybe its from inside the gearbox? I'd say loosen up the gearbox a bit and see if that makes a difference.

Have you tried loosening up the spur gear?... (I'm just throwing random ideas out...)

When did this start happening?

yea i have, i put on the pinion like 2 or 3 hours ago, then i had to go, then i came back, charged it, started driving, and it was like that, i cant move it closer cause then its too tight and it REALLY binds
