Hello, I'm interested in how you managed to get a 8 cell battery pack running in the Xmods Evo chassis. I wouldn't mind buying it if I can get more additional shots of the battery pack, of how it's hooked up.

Also, what kind of aftermarket motor is in it ? Where did you buy the aftermarket gears anyways ? Is this a stock EP ? If so, then wouldn't 9v smoke it easily ? And correct me if I'm wrong, but those tires look like the soft thread tires from the Radioshack upgrades.

Three more things, do you have a body to go with this chassis ? And do you have a running video by chance ? Last one, did you use a dyno or radar gun to get 37mph ?

The listing is closed at this point. I really hope no one bought that thing, for safety reasons alone. I understand the need to make money but when your scamming kids you need to be dropped into a large body of water with bloody meat tied around your neck. I'm just wondering if this thing will be relisted in a day or so on a new account. I may have gone a bit overboard on this and I apologize to anyone who may have felt I pushed a bit hard but if your going to try to sell something at least know what it is able to do and can't do. This guy just assumed everyone who buys xmods were idiots and would buy anything. I felt some way about that. And now he knows how we all feel about it.

I completely agree with what you did. It actually made me smile knowing you and others were heckling this guy for trying to scam somebody.

Hello, It was pretty simple to do you just need to be a little skilled at soldering. You remove the battery tray and ether jump of those wires or do it right and solder new wires to the pcb. That's all the board does not fry I had been running this since the first gen. The motor is a Grayson Hobby motor. The gears are from Atomic Mods. Yes this is a stock ep and no they have not fried. I could make a running video but I think I will end this listing I have gotten many more calls on craigslist I do have another one but I might keep that one because everyone seems to ponder the 9.6 volt pack on the top. I also doubt you are a serious buy. Another thing or misconception it is not selling for 200.00 that is the buying price for someone who is stupid enough to pay for it. I have it set to reject bids lower that 70.00USD. And I measured the speed with a bike that had a speed-o on it. I am starting to think it goes faster due to the fact that there are some cars that are running 8v and due 50 mph i don't think it would be that much faster than 50 though.- If i take it down and you still have question or you just plain don't believe me email me at [email protected]

Oh, thats awsome. Do you have anymore detailed pictures of the soldering, motor and such ? Isn't a Grayson Hobby motor a brushless one ? Brushless motors have 3 wires, not two. How did you manage to hook it up to the stock Xmods EP ? You have another chassis ? Well, if yours does sell and you want to keep your second one, mind you take detailed pictures for me ? Wow, your thinking around somewhere in the 50s ? Thats pretty good. I'm interested in how you hooked up the battery pack and a brushless motor to the chassis.

Provided he could get it to work and move forward it would still be useless until he upgraded the dog bones. Stock ones would snap trying to move that thing forward with a 8 cell battery pack on it. And if you can hook up 9+ volts and a 3 wire brushless motor to a stock board and it not fry in a few minutes I'LL EAT one of my EVO"S

Here goes another idiot: I am looking for a iwaver and come across one and it's 49.99 with no bids so I look at the listing and see why it has no bids; he is asking 45.99 in shipping, from Florida I believe. I e-mail him and ask if that is correct and he says it is. I just leave it at that and take the car off watch. Some people make no sense at all.
