by census you mean...? If your asking for info on it i will say it is a good place to start if your converting to a servo motor, plenty reliable but the gears aren't metal. For about $14 you cant go wrong unless you wire it wrong. Here are the specs on the servo if you wanted it.
Speed: 0.17 sec at 60° Output Torque: 15.27 oz-in (1.1 kg-cm) Weight: 0.27oz (7.8g) Length: 0.89" (22.8mm) Width: 0.45" (11.6mm) Height: 0.94" (24mm) most "stock" 130 motors usually do 1-2oz-in max torque at 6v or 36-56g-cm

To elaborate on that, I feel most of these failures have been due to the higher voltages we use to power our Xmods. The HiTec HS55/HS65/HS81 are rated for only 4.8V (6.0V max) and in many cases we're powering our Xmods with 2S LiPo rated at 7.2V. At 4.8V, which I am assuming is what Reaper is running his at to have such a long life, you're putting much less strain on the motor and should theoretically see a longer life due to this.
However, at $10 a pop, it's not that bad if they last a few months then die. Only takes about a half hour to mod a new one to a three-sixty rotational and go out crawling again! Cheers, Kyle.

+1 /\
i would say that is a very good point , i am in-fact running the stock 4 cells and to be honest i think for a crawler it is far superior liths are pointless , they are to powerful and the extra weight of the AAA's help traction

http://www.hobbypartz.com/9gexidimeges.html Very good price, +its digital, i am running 2 of these on my blade cx2 heli for atleast 3 years now and everything is still working properly and smoothly. But about the motor failures i am not too sure about that, i run 8+volts (lipo) on my heli and they are working fine, but maybe thats cuz 80% of the power goes to the motor anyways.

yes but your heli has BEC so reduces the power to less than 6v
what we do with servo's is mod the to 360* rotation and use as drive motors
