Default Future project thoughts......

many of you have seen the "Prick panel" and have had good things to say about it, witch has motivated me to try som eother ideas, it will take some time since I am in europe, and radio shack isn't ecactly around the corner. first up, is what I have already hinted to, a 1967 VW pickup, using this model kit:

Probally will look like this when it is done

I am working a resorce for scale wheels to replace the crap I have on the prick panel now, and will be ordering a 2nd set if it works out.

Another Idea I am kicking around is something like this:

it would take pretty much a full custom chassis to make the proportions right, and if I am going to do it, I am going to do it right, with working lights and working 5th wheel, to be able to pull this:

so am I crazy? has it beed done?
Sugestions, thoughts?

Cool ideas.... I don't think I've seen the VW pic-up truck before so that would be sweet...!

The big rig has been done by a few people (myself included) but they are always great builds to watch as everyone puts their own twist on to it...

Good luck!

The only other tractor and trailer combination I can think out that someone did was some guy on XMW back in the day, and I loved it.

I would love to see what you can do on one! Go for it!

would be sweet on the rig if you added the safety lights around the cab like the rigs you see in real life all decked out with all the little red lights not sure if i saw a rig like that before

Here is the build thread for mine:

http://www.xmodsource.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13149

I had a stab at doing custom lights for it but it doesn't look like I posted any of the pictures, there is a light box on the back of the cab pointing down to illuminate the chassis, and then there are lights for the front giving you headlights, fog lights and running lights.

I need to dig it out at somepoint and do some rework on it.

My boss has one of these in blue(1:1), totally stock. Would be an awesome project, not sure on the yellow but slammed with stock wheels would be very kool.
