Default STL strikes again! R33

Hey guys,

Well I'm back (I never really left) but by back I mean back in action.
This is my first project in a pretty long time. Hope you remember me!

Some of you may be following this already but for those who haven't, you can check the previous updates out here.

The car is also part of a 3-week buildoff. It is about 50% done as of right now: The exterior has a few things left but the chassis and interior have not been started yet.

Thanks!
Skys

Great choice and very clean work so far. My only little gripe is with the graininess of the silver metallic, but looks solid nontheless. I might subject my Levin 86 or S13 to the xmod treatment since mine are sitting and dusting.

get over it....
there is absolutely no way to make 1:28 flake.
even ultra fine flake mixed with clears and kandy looks large on this scale.
when you produce quality such as this, you might have some room to talk but until then, keep the "gripe" to yourself.
sorry for being a bit snooty but ****,there's only so much you can do with metallics at this scale.
the ONLY thing i would have changed is added some gunmetal or metallic grey to the cooler fins to add some depth.

personally,i think it looks **** good and i hate to have to go against it in the comp......

another top notch STL build.
good show!

Any chance for a topless picture? I'd love to see how you extended the chassis and mounted it. From the picture you've already provided, it seems as though you have a piece of plastic/styrene with "GT-R" written on it. That's a must see!

Cheers,
Kyle.

Moar pics

Please ignore how the trim looks in the pictures...I assure you in real life you can't see inside the really small crack between the body and trim...it's not my masking at fault, it's my camera picking up things that can't be seen. :/

The interior is immaculate, and the rims are perfect. Best skyline on a 1/28th scale ever. **** autoscale, excuse the language
