Let me save you the trouble by saying you don't want to do that. There are minimal benefits with running AA batteries. They are heavier as well as do not offer that much higher of a discharge rate over AAA batteries.

I'm assuming you are still running the standard Alkaline AAA batteries in your Xmod? I would suggest investing in some AAA rechargable NiMH batteries; such as Energizer or Duracell. Although the voltage is lower (AAA NiMH is 1.2V while Alkaline is 1.5V), the NiMH battery offers a much higher discharge rate than regular Alkaline batteries. Another major plus is they are rechargable, meaning you can use them up to approximatly one-thousand times; unlike your regular Alkaline batteries which can only be used once. You'll save money and you'll also notice a substancial increase in acceleration, speed and torque while using rechargable NiMH batteries.

Cheers,
Kyle.

The only AA's you want to run are the Lithium-ion. I DO NOT suggest you running them at your skill level. They are EXTREMELY dangerous when not handled properly.
