No one here is arguing. We are discussing this. Don't just jump in on a conversation and tell people they are arguing, we are all fine here. Also obviously you didn't read the Thread AGAIN, because we are both doing cars running 4 lith cells. They are drag cars. Your posts in this thread are the only pointless thing here, starting argument.

hmm...too much yelling. thinking that maybe some people are getting a bit short fused? seems like it.

the power would only be applied for like, 4-5 seconds, maybe 7 seconds at most, but that's it, 5 second run and a nice cooldown period. the power is there the same way that the fastest drag cars have like, 5000+rwhp. that's pretty excessive in of its own, but the cars are only run in very short intervals, so does longevity matter much? not particularly.

dude you are to busy talking to listen

what we are trying to tell you is that yes you can get an xmod to run on 14.8v no-one is saying that you carnt , yes you have stated the case very well for each type of external turbo
but what you have to understand is the xmod chassis just will not handle that amount of power it is at its limit with a 2 cell lith

all that will happen is one of 3 things
1 the car will flip or spin under acceleration
2 the motor will fail
3 the drive-train will self destruct

im not having a go or starting an argument nor am i a noob im speaking from more than a little experience in rc

i know you're experienced in rc, but the components are under immense stress for only a few seconds, and even when something breaks, it's not like you can't replace it.

and for reference 3X,
the lightspeed x2 pro specifications:
12T of silver wire on spiral arm with Copper FAT comm, 10-15 degrees advance timing, Atomic EGR bb case, neo mags, 18G motor wires, carbon brushes, pre-lubed with Tribo comm lube.

BUDDY, It works fine, have you done it. I have. It is a DRAG car meant to go as fast as possible and for only about 5 - 10 seconds for a drag run. The motor gets hot but the Chilli can handle it and won't burn up unless ran for more then a minute (I have tested everything) The car runs fine no out of control or anything (with the right tires and AWD) Mine has a Mini-Z PCB so I use a PRO transmiter so I can make fine adjustments which is the best considering the speed.

We are modders doing new cars for different purposes all the time. This is a fine setup for someone who is a speed freak and wants a DRAG car. checkout my thread, I had this car at (97kmh - 64mph) drove a nice drag run. Car did not explode. LOL. here's the thread if you missed it. So I did READ your post, I have done this build and tested. (If you haven't I would go through the whole thread there is Pix of the speed test and alot of the build) http://www.xmodsource.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15324

(The fan is not part of the car, if that's what you were thinking) The motor is blazing hot after 8-11 seconds. (Notice 4 Lith cells thats like 15v going straight to the motor) Does that clear it up. Let me know.
so my advice is get off ya high horse and try taking advice with some civility
get a vid of it on the ground running then come back and tell me i was right

I take advice fine. Get out of the thread with your crap. Everyone knows I give and take advice fine. HIGH HORSE..... your funny. It gets hot after 11 seconds but won't burn up or anything until it's close to a minute. Video will be posted, but not for your approval. Your wasting my time, and won;t respond to anymore of your crap posts.

PS- your not offering any advice anyway. Your just talking sh1t.

Don't worry I will when it is 100% complete. Be assured I wouldn't do all this and not post a video for all the members tuned in to the build thread.
