Default XXX Project XMODSOURCE.COM Car

Okay, I meant 3 new projects. I opened a NIB Scion Xmod for this one. This one Im not planning on getting into chassis upgrades until the crawlerjeep, and the Dragcar are done. However for now I will be doing the body. I met a guy at my local hobby shop who does pro airbrush painting for lexan bodies for some 1/8 nitro competitors and he said he would do my 1/28 bodies for the cost of his paint. I wanted to have him do my XXXRay body, but I needed it done to soon (for DEC COTM Comp)

So, I am having him do an "XMODSOURCE.COM car on one of my Ford GT Lexan bodies. This is a thank you to all the members and staff here at XMS for making it a great community. I would like to get everyones input on the design, but ultimatly want the XMS staff to have final input on the approved design.

Please post ASAP (STAFF especially) as I want this to be a Xmas gift and present it for the 2009 Year opening the first week of January. Thanks and enjoy.

We're glad you love being a part of this community, XXX. As well as we thank you for being part of this community and making it something special along with the rest of us. I for one am glad you're enjoying yourself here on the forum as well as generous enough to base one of your creations around Xmodsource itself. So, again, in short, thank you.

Seeing as how you want to base it around Xmodsource, I would say do something along the lines of a blue car. Seeing as how the past as well as present forum theme has been blue, I guess blue would be Xmodsource's color of choice. Maybe a few yellow accents, like seen in the banner above, would add that extra flair to the car.Possiblibly even some silver or white highlights would contribute nicely, just like the how the text found within each and every post contributes to this forum.

Cheers and Happy Holidays,
Kyle.

Right I was thinking the same. Base it off the banner. Blue with Yellow splatter on it and Xmodsource.com (Just like on the title banner) diagonally going across the car (front driver hood to back passenger trunk) and maybe some other cool graphic details. The guy painting the bodies for me is amazing he does those bada$$ bodies on the cars you see on display at your look mainstream hobby stores. What do you think about that.
