is this safe? i've never seen anyone with this on there xmod, so i'm wondering. http://www.xmodsinternational.com/US...TNOSSYSTEM.htm
EDIT: i would also like to know if these are good batteries to buy, http://www.all-battery.com/24pcsaaa1...batteries.aspx i need more rechargeables and these and 1000mah and they are on sale now, but if they are bad batteries, i would like to know before i go out and waste money

Yes and no... it works and it gives your motor a butt load of extra power but it also shortens the life of your motor as these little motors aren't really designed to run at 9volts for an extended period of time....

it reaches a certain voltage, then the relay switches the motor to the 9 volt source, the board still runs from the regular voltage, but the motor gets boosted.
you could make one for 10 bucks if you wanted. just search for the $10 nitrous tutorial

What batteries??
The NOS kit uses any old 9v square battery, the car uses either liths or a 5 or 6 cell, you don't get enough current from 4 cells to trip the switch.... [EDIT] I'm sorry I missed your battery link the first time around! Those Tenergy batteries are the sames ones I use and I'm really impressed with them, I stopped bothering with liths for all but my top cars because these batteries are so good! They own the RS rechargeables!!
