Default Radline SP motor? hot?

If anyone is using this motor, can they tell me do you smell something burning along with the motor being very hot after a short period of run time in your xmod?

edit: i was also wondering.. which motor would you recommend? Tamiya Torque Tuned Motor or Radline SP motor?

not sure.. i'm only using the sp.. which is built for torque and medium speed... it seems to be the same speed as stage 1 but better torque power than stage 1 for SP... not sure about the other 2.

i believe so... with s2 motor i can barely go through the yard's rock and sand with same setting.. while using this or my Tamiya Torque Tuned motor.. they do better in off roading light.. some how my tamiya motor fried my Hummer's Fets... never fried any of my other vehicle fets..

okay, i tested that motor, in my eyes.. it seems like its either faster or same as s2 motor... not sure about the Standard radline motor.. too lazy to try that one lol.. this is a good deal i guess.. SP is for torque/medium speed SR is for High speed...

edit: heres the information from the site about those 3 motor.. well rpms that is..
-SD Stock, 22,000 RPM Motor
-SP High Torque/High Speed, 24,000 RPM Motor picture is the one in my truck.
-SR Ultra High Speed, 26,000 RPM Motor

Please use the search button. every week we have a new radline question that is the same as the old. I have have answered these ?'s many times.

I have 2 radline racing 3 packs for free(gift card).
*advantages:
*more torque
*some more gears for a custom gearbox or xi's new product
*cheap and very good motors.
*you can rewind these motors too.
*all have better torque than a s1 motor
*sp and sr are better than a s2 in speed(sp: acceleration, sr: top speed) and torque
*there are a couple more reasons

disadvantages:
*you have to switch the motor wires
*some people may not have a target around them = can't buy online either/yet

Mine does not overheat or smell. I use the stock heat sink too.

sorry to double post and bring back an old thread, but i want to know does the Radline Modified Motor (1 motor package at Target) work on stock fets? Right now Target has Radline Accessories for 50% off.. i went out and brought a pack of 3 pack and the 1 pack motors.. 3 pack motor was $5.44 w/o tax and the modifie (1 pack) was $7.04 or something..
