Lithium Polymer - Voltage Cut-off?
Well, this is my first post as a new member. im not a noobie to r/c (20+ yrs mostly planes), so i have a good background in how everything works.
I have an evo chassis (G35) that i have upgraded to lithium-polymer batts (2cell 500mAh). Is there a voltage cut-off circuit available? I would hate to fry my batt just because i ran it down too low. i have searched for it in the posts, but to no avail. Thanks, steve |

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I don't remember ever seeing such a circuit, although I'm sure you could piece one together without to much difficulty. Your only other option is to watch for the common signs of the liths running out of juice and immediately recharge them - kind sucks but hey its what we all have to do

Hey, do us a favor (and welcome to the forum!), and write up a short Tut for it if you can?

i'll do what i can. im in the midst of moving to a different state, finding a new job, finishing a couple new airplanes and now tinkering with my new xmod. had to pick up an AWD kit since after the Li-po upgrade the car does nothing but spin out unless you eeeaaaasssseee into it. cool if you like doing donuts though.
