I just copied and pasted the list from their website, and it was under r/c car manuefacters and i know they have some nitro's. I saw them when i bought my hs 55.
Not more than $175 but most likely as cheap as they come that are good for learners.so i will probably spend $100 -170.

Seems to be a copy and paste of what Towerhobbies.com carries.
Before any other members discuss this I would like you to go to your hobby shop and talk to them about what they carry and what they feel is a good starter Nitro RC. Really, there is no "easy" starter Nitro. There are the slower and easier to tune nitro engines but there is no "easy" Nitro. Each one carries a special way to be tuned, ran and taken care of; there is no "set" rule for each and every Nitro out there. Since you'll probably be purchasing it from them it will be a lot easier for them to help you because it's one of their carried products. This means they probably have experience with the motor, the parts and the warrenty incase something goes wrong during your Nitro experience. Talk to your Local Hobby Shop first. Remember, this is an Xmods forum, not a Nitro forum. Not many members have knowledge about Nitro RC.

A noob telling another noob what is good? Is this XmodsRC?
Go to your RC HObby shop and go with the larger brands. Easier to find parts, maybe not cheaper, but you can modify them when the itch comes (oh and how it will come...)...

Any RTR nitro, specifically a touring car or stadium truck from Team Associated (ZING!), Team Losi, HPI (eck), and Tamiya are all great for beginners. You should have a budget of at least $500. $300 for the vehicle, and $200 for maintenance, replacement parts, and tuning parts (specialty tools).
If you haven't done anything hobby grade R/C, which I would assume you haven't, since you just Copypasta'd Tower's list, I would HIGHLY recommend you begin with electric R/C first. It will be MUCH easier and less of a headache! And mind you, less expensive |

I know this is an xmods forum and that is why i got an ancount. BUt i just want to start advancing in the r/c world. I know not many people here have nitros. THanks anyways. I will go to my LHS and ask them.
If there is nothing to add then this thread may be deleted. I was thinking of electric first. THanks redisfaster.by the way it was Venture Hobbies list=D

And you had better have at least $1k to spend (possibly more) because the car/truck/buggy is going to run you at least $500 plus all the accessories(NO nitro is really RTR out of the box, because they cannot ship fuel, and the batteries need at least 4 hours to charge correctly out of the box) I do agree that starting with electric's is a lot easier and less expensive until you start having to replace batteries and parts(which cost the same whether you are running nitro or electric) AND I sure as hell would not buy anything made by Exceed (if you know nitro you will notice it is an HPI knockoff) Hell their entire site looks like a mangled HPI site. Going from 1/28th scale (hobby grade) to the larger scales just cost more money proportionate to the scale you upgrade to. My next Large Scale is the 1/5th scale HPI Baja 5B Retail price right around $1k but runs on pump gas and 2 stroke oil not that **** expensive Nitro (around $22/gal here in Houston) Best of luck upgrading to the larger Hobby Grade r/cs if you have any questions you can PM me or email me and I will get right back to you asap.

Don't forget Traxxas. I got a friend into nitro who has little large scale rc experience. He is a great driver for a beginner and runs a Traxxas Nitro Stampede like me. It is only RWD and only goes a little over 35mph on a TRX Pro.15, but let me tell you...they are a blast to drive. For me, nitro is also $22 a gallon of 20% by Trinity. Exceed RC is junk IMO. If snowboi1289's Pull stater ripped off that easily, than you know it is junk. I use EZ Starting system and it works great for me. I personally would recommend Traxxas, Losi, or AE.
Stay Away from Megatech, and Exceed RC.
