Default Question about LiPo pack- 4S...

So, for my BL gen1, I'm making a 4S LiPo pack, I'm going to make 2 2S packs, and just take the - and + wires and wrap them together, and solder them to the 2 prongs at the end of the Deans connector.

So it would look like this:

| |

The left prong with 2 negative wires, and the right with the 2 positive wires.
Would this be a 14.8v pack, or 7.4v?
I want 7.4v....
Thanks

I think that's how I am planning on wiring it...on XMF I was told this was a 2S2P setup...

If i understood...you will have 2 separate packs, each with its own positive and negative lead...you will then take the 2 positives and solder them together and do the same with the negatives... the positives will go to board positive and the negatives will go to board negative. If this is correct you will end up with 7.4 volts and double the MAH of the 2 packs (or an average of the 2 if they differ),

2S2P = 2 batteries in S series making one pack, 2 batteries in S series making the second pack, and the 2 series packs in P parallel.

Thanks BART, I was hoping you'd show up.
I accidently wrote 4S, instead of 2S2P
