I have thought about making some out of solder. most of you guys will think solder that stuff is very soft. I ran a test on some one time to see if I could make it harder and after a few heat cycles, with adequate cooling time of a day in between it became very hard stuff harder than the plastic ones. as soon as I make some molds and get my processes down to heat the solder up I will be making ones for the lifts. there will be lifetime warranty on them also with free replacement. but like I said I an still in the trial phase and have to make molds to keep them the same.

I have tried like hell to break it and it holds up to pretty much any abuse. besides I will be making them with some reinforced ends out of small paper clips I will be testing them myself in my trucks before I ever sell them and I will put a lifetime warranty on it too.

hey xn i want to be on the waiting list for some of the custom dogbones. i need 3 sets or more. and dark u can still use the gpm stock length dogbones if u pack the wheel shaft somehow. thats what i did on my hummer with the stock plastic ones cause i lost the lift kit dogbones

yeah theres some pics laying around comparing the 2, but the newer model Xtrucks come with plastic dogbones with a thicker reinforced center section and they are actually lonber then the lift dogbones
and about the alum CVDs that you see there, i bought some thinkin "oh theres not that much difference it'll work" well they made the CVDs shorter than the stock dogbones so they didnt work at all and the fell out while i was driving my truck, they'll work fine on a stock truck but not on a lifted one
