How to make a very cheap Ipod video cover
I read sombodies tut. on another site or forum (dont remember) and they were showing how you can make variuos kinds of Ipod covers (for all Ipods, exclude the Ipod touch). Using different stuff that you can get for under $5. I am not responsible for anything that you do, if you screw up something, its your fault, not mine.
I had a #5 gum package laying in my car, and I figured it would look cool or different if I put the cover over it, It fit perfectly (the width of it did, but the height doesnt match up). Things you need: -#5 gum box (in good condition. Dont just look in a trash can and find one, thats nasty!) -Razor blade -Some clear tape or super glue Pictures and instructions: 1. Take out the inside of the gum box (the part where the gum is stored). 2. Check to see if your Ipod video fits correctly. It should fit, if its the right box. 3. Open the bottum part without ripping. You can do this in the begining like I did. 4. Lightly draw a line on the box, so it goes around the screen on the Ipod's screen. 5. Cut the part out the part you just wrote on. 6. Now cut off the par where it closes so it looks like this. 7. Now fold that part in the box, like this (I did this, so it fits in there better, and it doesnt come out easily). 8. It should look like this after what you just did, check to see if it fits properly. 9. Now glue or tape the bottum part, so it stays closed. After that, it should look like this. Hope you like your new Ipod case. You can mod the inside part for the menu and such, it works without cutting that part anyway. Please comment.
