two xmods, forward and reverse mixed up
So I had a gen1 a longggggg time ago, when they first came out. Had lithium, a 180 motor, and all the RS upgrades. Since then I haven't touched my xmod. Fried resistors and called it quits. Yesterday I came across two evolutions for 8 bux....had to go for it, figured id get back into it.
both of the evo's seem to have everything in them, everything seems to work properly, except... hitting the throttle hurls the car in reverse, and hitting reverse makes the car go forward but slowly. I'm sure there is an easy fix for this, but I was only familiar with the gen one for a short time, and have no experience with the evo. Tried to search, no luck. TLDR: i have to evo's, both go in reverse when they are suppose to go forward, and go forward when they are suppose to be in reverse

check your motor polarity, i'm guesing either the motor wires were soldered on backwards, or they are just hooked up backwards on the board.

Thamks guys, i feel like an idiot. Got one of them working perfectly after the polarity swap and teardown/clean.... Now the other one has a problem turning left. I think my servo is shot... If i pick the car up and turn the wheel, it gets stuck or doesnt respond when i turn left
