Kevin's Legacy Rustler
Hai, I has a Legacy Rustler now.
Special Thanks to: mycro: for advice fuzzy: for the Rustler. Time to get to the basics. Legacy Rustler. MSC. Brass bushings which are pretty impressive. Hard tires, no foam inserts. I took out MSC and replaced with XL-5. I burnt out my Titan 12T on my Slash, so I paired it up with the 20T Stinger. I also made a cut to battery slot to accommodate a 7cell Ni-Mh setup. I swapped out the 14AWG wires on the Stinger for 12AWG because I felt it needed better current flow. I made a rear chassis stiffener from the MSC mount and made a battery plate from the MSC Resistor mount My plans are: 1) Bearings for wheels as the transmission already has bearings. 2) Get another body. Body is too sexy to be driven 3) Bash and rash I don't plan to race it unless it gets popular at the local track. The outside. Here is my battery tray, I cleaned up the cuts after test run. Rear battery plate: with cleaned up cuts under. GUTS! Tires all hard. Worn out rears already After-run motor cooling method Many Deans! and a sneak peak at the Slash. Enjoy. |
