The charging time solely depends on the charging rate.
The truck looks clean. Nice buy man. A lot of people are getting the slash nowdays. Fieldfairy also got one I think. Any modding plans for it? Later, T.I.M

tayyab: Slash 4x4. Not the original
Good looking slash. The stock battery and charger are not very good. Those would be the first upgrades to look into along with some quality tools and maintenance stuff (cleaner, lubricant), everything to keep the car running strong. Have fun with it. I know you will. Another good thing; all the aftermarket and parts support.

I have a set of Hot Racing blue aluminum front and rear control arms that I'll sell you if you're interested.
I would immediately get some of the Traxxas Big Bore shocks with some thicker shock oil in that thing, and aluminum caster blocks front and rear. Get used to the power of the Titan, and then go brushless. The Titan won't last long, they usually don't anyway.. make sure you lube it after every couple runs and it should last a little while. |

Haha I forgot how nice they looked new. If you drive anything like me it will have chassis scrathes in no time. But on the up side they are just about indestructible with my driving so far the only damage was when it slid under a moving taurus and got ran over. But it was like $30 in replacement parts so they are built pretty good. Congrats though hope you have alot of fun with it.

Compete in the modified class if there is one? I know you'll be racing the guys with deep wallets there, but you still get the chance to race. I wish I could, the closest track to me is 1.5 hours away and they don't have actual competitions that I know of.

Welceom to the ranks as an owner of a Slash. You will never regret it. I love my Slash, and its upgraded to the teeth. RPM EVERYTHING, VXL brushless system, deans plugs, and some new ProLine wheels, with a new body coming soon. Just some advice though: If you drive through thicker stuff, like mud or other thick liquids, first place to wash has to be the rear corners of the body. Craploads of grass and such (snow recently) accumulates there. The Slash is an awsome truck! Hope you have fun!!

Scroll Up. See that stock Slash? BAM! Its gone. No more noob slash. My local race track has hardened my Slash. It is permanently scarred racing icon.
HEY TURN MARSHALS. Body: Guts! Race Results: http://www.rcracing.com/RaceResultsD...10.txt&ID=3692 Look under Stock SC A-Main. "Kevin Xiong" I dropped out all 3 races. My Li-Po cut off was malfunctioning. Name: Xiong, Kevin Car Number: 10 Laps: 8 ( leader had 13) Race Time: 4:39.848 (leader had 6:21.431) Fastest Lap: 31.001 (leader had 26.479) Not bad for first race eh? Got more practice in anyways, so I got my lines set and should be good to go next race day. :] Last edited by lol; 05-17-2010 at 03:14 AM.. |
