Photography Thread
Rules: 1. Images must be within' the appropriate forum constraints. Maybe the moderating staff will let some larger images fly, as long as they're not too large. I'll discuss this with them further; until then keep them the appropriate size. 2. Must be appropriate pictures. This means: no racial, crude or vulgar images may be posted. Also, pornography is not allowed as it is against forum rules. 3. Any inappropriate comments will be deleted. Criticism and how to fix ones image is acceptable, as long as the context of that message is not meant to harm the photographer's feelings. I just mean no comments like "That person is ugly! You are a horrible pixture takerz!" Any of that will be instantly deleted and infraction points will be given. We're all mature, let's keep it that way. 4. No stealing. Anyone caught stealing or taking credit for a picture that was not taken by them will have infraction points given and instant deletion of ones post. It’s always smart to have a watermark within your photo. ----------------------------------------------------- Since a lot of us have pictures we want to share that are not xmods, i thought i should make a thread where we all can show are pictures. keep them PG13 cough..sweed..cough (dial-up now has been officially raped) Last edited by mustanglover; 02-04-2008 at 08:49 PM.. |

Please visit my photobucket for over 300 images. Donziikid Photography ------------------------ Photography has been my main hobby for quite some time now; coming up on two years now. My dad is a graduate from Florida Institute of Technology with a masters degree in photography and I have been learning tricks, tips and ideas from him ever since I picked up my camera. Between him and I we own both a Nikon D100 and a Nikon D2x. Along with those two camera bodies we own various lenses; two of my favorites include the 70-200mm and the 28-105mm. Along with being in the paper here at home my father has also had a few images published in some RC Flight magazines as well as RC Car and Action. One of them even made the cover page, I'll try to locate it online. I've had a few photography classes inside of school and outside of school, so I could hopefully by now answer any questions you may have about a camera and how it works. If I don't, I can always ask my dad. Even with these many classes I still find myself not up to par with some and would like to improve my photography; so please, do not hesitate to critique my images! I'll start with some of my older images: Ford F150 Xmod. Doh! Talk about a major boo-boo; I left the timestamp on. Rookie mistake. Mustang Xmod. Doh! Again, time stamp. Still, rookies get better and my next batch was hopefully better.. Donzi on Lift. There we go. A little better, eh? No time stamp, at least! Fence. Too dark, don't'chya think? Yeah, me too. It'll get better.. Rose Bush There we go! Lively, bright and colorful. Looks much better than the rest. All of those above images were shot in the summer of 06'. Way back in the beginning of my photography days. Wine I These are a little better than the rest. Lots more of the darker colors. Wine II. Needed a little more into the image. Those two were little bit later on. Decided to get a little crazy in these next few. Firework Missle. Fireworks show out of a missle canister on a slow shutter speed. Firework I. Neighbors fireworks display, always a major attraction on the river. Firework II. Whoops, I'm still messing up! Pyro. That one is just for all you pyros and pyris. The above were taking during Fourth of July, duh. Time to get into some macro, eh? That's what we're all interested in, is it not? Xmods PCB. My first attempt at macro with the Xmods PCB. Xmods PCB II. Second attempt at macro with the Xmods PCB. Nikon. Another some-what macro of my lense cap. No strings attached! Lol. 130 Size Armature. This is why I'm doing stuff...nevermind. 2mm Shock Caps. Probably the smallest macro I've done to date.. Yikes! Xmods Front Assembly. Haha. The blue looks really striking in this image, eh? Above are all macro. Time to get into the best stuff. These last few are all of my favorite images that I have taken over the course of these past few years. Photogenic Burnouts. POWER! Let em' rip, eh? Great Escape! The best getaway car, ever. EX-GF 1. She was insane. Best Friend, tho. EX-GF 2. She was amazing, lol. Stupido mistako.. ---------------------------------------------- I'll be finishing this up later and posting more later. **PM me if you would like the password to my photobucket.

Blaaaaahahahahha, CTS pics are developed! But, until then: http://texanidiot25.deviantart.com/ I'll get to dial-up killing later this weekend. Life is a busy... But I <3 this Minolta. Lesson learned to use a lower ISO, but oh well, the ****'s still tight. But guys, get rid of date stamps, and a bunch of macro shots of xmods gets tiring. Get creative

Just gotta say one thing, random pics does not constitute as photography. Snapshots if you will..
Fordman-stray away from the flash. Some the indoor ones could be good, if with out the flash, and such.. If you have a slow computer, let it load before scrolling: Hooters Custom Truck show, 07 Houston Autorama, 07 '68 Cougar XR7, a neighbor of mine's. Various cars: Mine: 1998 GMC Jimmy, parents, but Ive fixed it more then enough times and know far more about it... it's mine at heart, lol: The CST/10, my pride and joy... also the biggest hole-in-the-pocket maker I own My daily driver, a 1990 Firebird.

Ehh. There a bit snapshot-ish. Texan, you decide.
You can remove the img tags if you'd like. First up, my kitty. Full size of each viewable @ knvictd.deviantart.com Once again, PM if you want to download full size, for whatever reason that may be. photobuckets being ***, ill upload the other three in a sec. edit - Bondo deleted Texan's post, so this would have technically been a double post... Here's the other 3, hadf to go with imageshack.us for these... another cat photo: and these... no effects used, it just happened... haha. my toes are in the way. Dog Toy: Candycane:

Nice boat!
Now for the pictures from Monster Jam. PM me if you want some video links! Some pictures are shaky, but I was excited, bear with me. Monster Mutt at Wheely competition Blue Thunder pulling towards his wheely "The Legend" Dennis Anderson lands on side while in the wheely contest, he was ok and the truck had a crack on the back of the body. Motocross Dirtbike jumping(the red blur)over a 60 foot gap. Monster Mutt in smoke after doing his signature, "chase the tail"! Dennis Anderson walking back to Grave Digger. Anger Management, Grave Digger, Team Suzuki, and The Broker Driver coming out of Blue Thunder(was not Tony Farell) Grave Digger All of the pictures were from this past Saturday, February 9th 2008(of course!) El Toro Loco had engine probs at the 2pm show EST, my friend went to that one, so he didn't show up to the 7:30pm EST show, American Guardian wouldn't start back up for racing, so his teammate, Anger Management had to race for him against Grave Digger, guess who won........Grave Digger!

What I took:
What my dad took: These are all straight off the camera (except resize). I'll post up the pictures of our diver diving when they're edited and fixed. These are all the .JPEG files, I'll post up the .NEF files later. Much better quality.
