steering problem with gtr

i have the new nissan gtr and notice the steering problem for about 2 weeks now. what it does is i can control the throttle but i can't steer the car left or right. sometimes after i turn it on for a while i can steer, but most of the time i can't. Today i was playing with my other older generation xmod on band 4 crystal and left my gtr on (band 1) and it seems like i can steer the gtr and use the throttle, but only at a certain location close to the car. anyone know what is the problem with the steering on my gtr. thanks

its brand new... take it back and get a new one. no reason to waste your time trying to fix something that should work.

sounds to me like a remote problem with your gtr. on the top of the controler there is a switch that says l and r, try flipping that and see if that helps. and on the back of the remote there is a dial barely sticking out, turn that all the way up and see if there is any change. if not go get a new one.

bought it about a month ago and i don't have the receipt anymore. thats why i am trying to fix the problem. if it's the remote problem can i get another remote from another gtr using band 1 and use it on mines?

doesnt matter. take it back and say it doesnt work, they will exchange it. your not asking for money back. thats teh only time u need a reciept. dont tell them when you bought it.

Yeah I would try and take it back if possible for a new one. Unless you have bashed it up they should exchange it.

I got the same problem with my Evo. Make sure your antennae is touching the connector well and is tightly secured. Now my steering is perfect, whereas before it wouldn't register or turn at the wrong time.

Why is it that your #4 crystal can control your band #1 evo is beyond me.

there's scratches on the car and its pretty dusty inside. i'm going to check the antenna, i'm pretty sure its secured, but it doesn't hurt to check

there are scratches, but thats not what they will worry about when you take it in. the big issue they will see is the fact that your car will not turn. they won't be looking at some stupid little scratches.

if you cant return do a evo board transplate so then u can use any band.
