nissan titan muded out
this is what my titan looks like after going thruogh, water, mud, dirt, and even mud puddles
the only downside to driving it like i did,was the fact that the bearings froze up and it wore out my dogbones,i guess it was cause the dirt. so now cause all that,it is no longer a mud truck,i took of the big tires and put on a little smaller profile tires....ok enough talk let the pics speak i also took out the awd and 8 tooth gear and put in a 12 tooth, for more speed. |

wd40 works for maybe.. the first 5 seconds as lube, before the stickiness factor kicks in. it attracts more dirt
next time try to use purely silicone based lubes

guns are not bearings
the gun isnt always shooting, and when it is, unless your going all out and have money to spend, your not shooting fast, at all bearings spin, and you cant control how fast they spin(to a certain extend) at full speed, on an xmod, those little bearings are spinning so fast that it makes a world of a difference you can use wd40 to get water out of the bearing, but dont use wd40 as lube after you use the wd40, wipe the bearing, and use some type of lube made for moving parts wd40 is going to pretty much "dry" the bearing its gonna remove anything off of it but it is also gonna attract a lot of dirt, because it is water based silicone based lubes, which are made for bearings and shocks don't attract dirt, and dont remove dirt(unless its one of those spray on lubes, which.. the pressure is removing dirt), but they stop water from penetrating metals, causing rust im not saying dont use it, but use it with caution wipe it down after, and run it like that, it is better for the bearing ask any airsoft/paintball/rc/skateboarding/fishing community, they are all against the used of wd40 on bearings because they have all had experience with it use it to clean, but cover it up with something else afterwards one thing i like to use wd40 with is if i wanna make my rc bodies look "dirty" I spray it on the body/wheels, run in dirt a bit.. and my car looks nice and dirty for pictars lol

Disregard these noobs. Use a solvent or gasoline to soak the bearings to remove grease/dirt/grime/WD40. Relube with a proper bearing lube, which you can find at any hobby store.
WD40 is an OK cleaner, but it's main job is to displace water, hence the name. It's a suckass lube though.

Cow Rc has got you covered for bearings, use the cleaner then the lube, you wont have to think about your bearings for a long time
