Try stuffing something in there to make to stop comingout, or just another rim. Well for one, you need the basic body lift, and I think the only other thing is how to get it mounted. Can you get some mock up pics on the F150? Mind telling me where you got those tires?

here's a little food for thought.
i bought aluminum truck rims and stuffed them inside the monster rims and drilled 2 holes(it has four now) and screwed the rims together with a tire sandwiched between them. bore a hole in the front of the monster rim for the lug wrench and you got it. just make sure to tighten the screws with the same ammount of turns on all of them to keep them centered. semi-finished...... be aware though, if you put those wheels on, your going to open a HUGE can of worms. you cant just slap tires that big on a truck and expect it to perform as well as stock. your going to have to put alot into it to make them fit properly as well as function decently.(numchux can back me up on this.) cheers, Bondo

That dosent make it realistic. just drill out the rims so u can fix the nuts to the axles and u glue it or screw it in like bondo did.

mine went all the way through as well but they werent solid.
there was a cross brace of plastic that went from behind the face of the rim all the way to the outer rim on the rear of them. i just trimmed away enough that i could get the tires in at a same depth on all four. you can cut as much of that bracing away as you want/need. it's there to support the axle that used to run through it but since your replacing the old axle with an Xmod wheel, you wont need it anymore. all of your support is going to be from the Xmod wheel itself and the bond between Xmod wheel and monster wheel. basically the Xmod wheel will be the load bearer and you should make the connection between the wheels as strong as possible. i would love to see a pic of the front of the rim....

i bought a gravedigger 1:24 scale truck and all you have to do is take ur stock truck rims (without the tires) and glue them to the model's hub, then glue the models hub into the monster truck tire...if u need a bodylift, go to radioshack and theres some tiny machine screws that are the same thread and diameter as your xmods screws but they're really long, get those and some nuts to fit them and raise up your front clip and your rear clip...they've very sturdy and look good, i can send you pics if you'd like (note, my F150 Bodylift is made with plastic tubing) |

I have a work-in-progress F-150 that has the SuperSwampers on it! No where near as big as the ones you are looking to mount but here is a link to the tutorial a guy from another forum helped me put together:
http://www.ab1gworld.com/xmods/irok.php and is here is a not very good picture:

Cheers - the camber issue has been resolved by re-centering all the axel stubs, changing the placement of the rims in the IROK's, GPM front / rear knuckles and nylon bearings (because I'm broke and can't afford really ones) which are a little bigger than the stock RS ones and fit the knuckles better!!
I don't want to hijack this thread with my car but ill put some picks up sometime soon!
