Model Build: Supermarine Spitfire Mark II

Yup, another model. This time I had to finish it kind of fast since my sister needed it for a project. So this is broken up over about 5 days or so.

Instrument panel.





I had to mix up some of my own paints. Here's the blue/green that I needed but didn't have

And at this point someone borrowed my camera, so I didn't have any progress pics.


Seat




Instrument panel and controls assembled.

Interior






Wheels and assembly. This was pretty problematic. They didn't fit together so well.















Kind of sad that I put details on the dash. Can't even see it













Paint laid down. I've had problems in the past with painting large areas, like bodies, but this wasn't so bad.

And that's what I've got done now. Now its basically the windows and a black string for a cable from the tail to that stick on the fuselage.
