Moved to Xmods Projects.

Nice looking entry. Good luck and I cannot wait to see it 100% finished.

Cheers,
Kyle.

Nice looking body. What happened to your CF Chassis idea? What kind of vacuum do you use to make your lexans? And how do you mount the foam, body, etc., I am really curious. I like the whole color scheming, looks to be a deadly car. I'm not too crazy about how you mounted the V2, did you install it all yourself? That body looks like a slot car body I have...

I use a homemade vaccum I posted a link in another thread. I have seen some slot bodys but they usually have a strange proportion. Here is a link on how to build your own machine (this is what I used you will have to spend another $200.00 beyond this for other needed parts.) http://www.build-stuff.com/1001plans_hobby_vac.htm

I had to mount the V2 in that position, The body is to low to the chassis for it to fit on top. That is why it's custom. Gotta make it work. I really like how it looks and how the chassis is so flat. But anyway, that was the only option.

Also I couldn't use the CF chassis on this one because I haven't gotten the CF chassis's cut yet. The chassis you saw on my other threads is just a plastic mock-up of the CF chassis. If I had them back from dragonplate I would have put it on this car. Maybe I will before the end of the month.

Who's cutting your chassis? I hope you aren't hand cutting, CNC machinery is hard to use, and to produce for that matter. You gotta be a pro.

Okay I just got one step closer to having my CNC machine. All I need now is the Zenbot skeleton. Gotta skim off the pay check everry week so the old lady doesnt get to mad. Should have enough when I get back on Dec 22nd.

looking very nice that car is just straight up beautiful and you have so far done a great job showing that beauty. my neighbor used to have that car but i think it was 67.

im surprised you pulled it off with the V2 the way you did. that body is tight to the car.

Hey thanks alot. Really makes me feel good about the project. I also really love how the V2 turned out, I think it looks really cool there. I tried to make it as clean as I could.... THERE ARE HELLA WIRES. Very flat and smooth. My dad also had 2 Vettes and one was a georgeous Stingray, but I dont remember the year. Check back around Xmas for the finished project.

Hey Thanks alot man. I tried to look at some of your projects, but it is unbearable. You really need to get pictures on those threads. As you know thats what members want to see when they open a project thread. I'm not bashing you, I would just really like to see your projects.
