![]() JDM simply implies it's from the Japanese Market, has *some* Japenese parts, or someone puts a JDM tag on thier car and *tries* to look good.
Rice: Excess wings, spinning things, wings, body work, spoiler flaps on hood, hoop scoop(s), wings, body work, wings, your mom, silvery looking taillights/headlights, ect, wings, exessive body work/wings, wings, big wings, diffrent colors of paint, to save weight.

![]() Well, not exactly JDM as in try to make your car look as JDM-stock as possible, but JDM-influenced styling. I'm sure everyone's seen an electric blue Civic with red watanabe wheels with machined chrome lips, right? Thats kind of like JDM styling. JDM-styling usually includes a clean bodykit of some sort (not always). The bodykits chosen are usually mistaken for OEM pieces, as they really compliment the vehicle's original design. Whereas ricers choose cheap and 'affordable' bodykits that try to make their car look like the dragon under your bed
![]() Rice, well, the ultimate rice-piece you can have on your car is Altezza tail lights (sometimes called Euro tail lights). For me, JDM, clean and functional. |

![]() JDM is usally the use of add-ons such as Type-R lips and wings, accents smaller than full body-kits (cuz bks are FUGLY.) More subtle, but a much cleaner look. No huge *** rims, just functional, stylish 15"-18"s but even 18"s are pushing it.
I personally hate Euro-style tail lights, stocks work fine, I'm even thinking about smoking mine Rice would mean a **** load of stickers, huge airplane wings mounted at the wrong angle, gnar 4" cans on stock exhausts, chrome everywhere, humongous wide body kits with more mesh than fiberglass, Ebay "cold air intakes that add up to 40hp," neon ground effects (puh-lease ![]() Yes, I have some stickers and a Type-R Wing (which some *** ripped off last week ![]() Either JDM or some of your own styling, but please don't be one of those douches that puts a $250 Seafoam Green bodykit on there 98' Maxima and can't even get it painted! Spend the money on fixing your 230,000 mile engine/tranny, or better yet buy a new car and then build on it. That just fries me. |

![]() Is this rice? It's a Volvo 850R, with well over 300hp, full exhust, Turbo (naturally..), and a real cold air intake:
And if it is rice, why is it? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
