Default batteries

I was wondering if its worth it to buy a new in the box radioshack green battery set with. Charger for $30, or are there better re chargeable batteries for around the same price

I would try some duracell or energizer ones before getting that set. Once you get a decent charger batteries are relatively cheap. You can even step up to higher quality batts. R1wurks or team orion batts. But if ur not racing I'd get energizer or duracell nimh rechargables

Alright thanks , I just news some batteries that I can re charge , regular bats only last like 15,mins .

You definitely need some sort of Ni-MH rechargeables because alkaline disposable batteries will not have a good enough discharge to get any real power out of your xmod.

you'll notice a difference right away.

You'll probably find Panosonic batteries too, they're pretty common, atleast i seem them everywhere, i have 2 sets that are a couple of years old and they wrok fine for me, i also have some older AA panosonic ones which are reaaaaally bad, it could becuase they are older tech, or b/c they've been used more, as far as a comparison between panosonic vs energizer/duracell, i couldn't say but i doubt they're more than equal, seeing as how energizer and duracell are recognized battery only brands,
