Default What do i do to modify mini z awd rims to fit on xmods?

I ve used the search button and couldnt find a thread and am really sorry if i am reposting this thread. Im getting my fiancee into xmods a little. But she wants an rsx and she likes purple and ive seen some sick miniz purple rims that look like the bbs.I just dont know how to make fit? please help and sorry again if im reposting this.

u have to to file the hump on the axle flat.Take your time and keep test fitting the rim it is verry easy to do.Thats only for the Mini z MA-010 rims

thought so i was just wondering i cant find purple rims like bbs? for my girls purple rsx

yeah I tried them and that's why I mentioned those other mini z model rims because they have some in purple. I do know they had some for the evo series too but i guess they are out of stock?!

what about painting the regular alum rims purple? I actually got some for my fiancee to paint her rsx that color but its a metalcast spray paint at Autozone. says it's suppost to give an anodized look in the color ur painting with?!?!? hmmmm.....

Worth a shot.. Find a piece of somthing aluminum around the house that has a finish similar to the wheels and test it. Or just do it to one wheel... If it looks bad get some stripper.. I reccommed the first idea first. Take some photos and let us see the results.
