This is how I tuned my cars:
Grip: Subaru Impreza WRX STi All Stage 3 A few Stage 4 (i.e. the engine) Set the steering to full response, and totally stiffen up the springs. Drag/ Wheelie: Toyota Supra All Stage 3 Steering to least responsive, springs stiff in the rear for wheelie, soft for drag (or the other way around) and stuff springs up front. Drift: Toyota Trueno All Stage 3 Steering to most responsive, springs stiff in rear, soft in front Speed: Lamborghini Murcielago (I think) All Stage 3 Steering left alone, just in the middle. Stiff springs all around. I hope this helps although I totally forgot the little tunes I did, especially to the engine and turbos. Just remember, don't worry about crashing and brake as late as possible. Take short cuts through the dirt and total everyone else. If you can at least. And don't worry about losing a crap load of times. This is a game, is supposed to last a while before you beat it. I've beat this game before, in casual mode of course. A bit easy in my opinion...

Personally I don't like the Zonda F. Too big and smaller cars (the Subaru) can easily match its acceleration.
For the engine, just set it to the most responsive and put the turbo to kick in at a higher rpms.

The Zonda is the fastest drag car, but you are going to total it at least once-- so keep your finger on that reset button so you won't have to pay for it. Just max everything out on it.
The GTR is my favorite grip car. Maxxed out power and boost, dropped and stiffened suspension. Use the E-brake to take turns sharper. Dirft, silvia, max everything out, lower it and stiffen the rear suspension. Start off in second and when you hit 30 tap the nitrous, once it picks up speed it is unstoppable and very stable in the curves. The Lotus does pretty well to, but isn't as controllable in small intricate courses. Top speed, my favorite is the R34, max out power aerodynamics and lower it. You might also tweak the steering to be less responsive so that you don't have to be so careful when taking turns. I've also got a '65 gto grip I was tuning before I set the game down. The old muscle cars need a spongey suspension to compensate for the weight; but they don't do as horrible as you would assume.

You would'nt have that problem if it was a cracked version and had on your computer...

i got a charger and after winning a bunch of races had all stage 4
if you completly deflate the rear tires you can do a longer wheelie but u gotta admit the vinyl placing is a lot easier and u can get some pretty sweet setups Last edited by DRFTKO; 01-09-2009 at 10:28 PM.. Reason: double post |

I still play it on occasions. Haven't played in a week or so.
My grip car is the R34 My drift car is an RX-7 My drag car is a Supra (6.68 is my best time in the 1/4) My speed car is a Zonda (when hooked up, it accelerates so much faster then the others) |
