not the lifetime of the motor, the lifetime of the EP.
it's not a matter of battery size, its a matter of voltage. dont go above 7.2v. if you're just looking to push power through crap, i'm not sure xmods can satisfy the need

no i just want some more power and longer life so i don't have to chance battterys every few mins. thank you guys for all the info it helps . the xmods are a holes lot of fun can play with them for hours.

If you're changing every few minutes it sounds like your not using rechargeables...alkalines don't have a good enough discharge rate to last very long.
Been there and done that. Buy yourself a quality charger and rotate through two or three sets of aaa NiMH rechargeables. |
