Default battery size

what is the biggest battery that i can run in the xmods without frying it

Biggest battery ? I'm not sure, but 8.4v is pushing the limits of the board. And be sure to gear low so you don't fry it.

the physical size dont matter you could run it on d-cells if you want!, but the bigger they are the more weightier they are, and that'll affect performance

i just don't what to fry the board. i fry one went i put 18v dewalt on a 4x4 radio shack truck it ran good for 5sec then smoke and fire . just say it is well done

lol can anyone say "epic fail"?

lol i would not go any higher then a 7.2 battery. i kno the cars can handle more but it will really decrease the lifetime of the motor.

not the lifetime of the motor, the lifetime of the EP.
it's not a matter of battery size, its a matter of voltage.

dont go above 7.2v.

if you're just looking to push power through crap, i'm not sure xmods can satisfy the need

no i just want some more power and longer life so i don't have to chance battterys every few mins. thank you guys for all the info it helps . the xmods are a holes lot of fun can play with them for hours.

If you're changing every few minutes it sounds like your not using rechargeables...alkalines don't have a good enough discharge rate to last very long.

Been there and done that.

Buy yourself a quality charger and rotate through two or three sets of aaa NiMH rechargeables.
