145 is what my Firebird had. I'd never define it as fast. I got it to 110 once. Few times in a row actually. But those tiny disk brakes don't like slowing down from those speeds and effectively had worthless front brakes that day. It's nice that they got so hot that the rim, the aluminum wheel itself was too hot to the touch, able to boil spit (my way of testing hot...).
But a top-trim minivan could stomp it in a drag race when I sold it with 270,000 miles. It had seen way better days and I reckon a few horses escaped the barn over the years.
Now I find 300 hp not fast enough. The chevy is quick, but still ain't enough... Ahh, the pursuit of speed.

skin hubcaps and all leather cow interior and big brown baby seal eyes for headlights. Yeah! And I'm gonna drive
around in that baby at 115 miles an hour, getting 1 mile per gallon.
