I should add putty all the way up the wheel well, or just add some putty to the bumper and sand the putty so that it curves to the wheel well. The part I'm talking about is marked with the sharpie. Tricky spot to sand too...

i bolded what you should do. if you've seen my 350z nismo (im sure you have), i tried doing something like that,
but not too noticeable. try rolling a little piece of the epoxy putty you use, and with the wet finger method,
smooth out that area. its not too hard, you could manage it.
(my little technique is to use tamiya white putty for things like that. its easy to sand and, since its liquidy,
pretty easy to apply with a toothpick).
