well, i was gonna take this bad girl out for a spin, and she decided to hate me yet again. this one pinion has come undone over 20 times ever since i got the buggy, and none of my tricks work, the threadlock worked the best, then it came undone again.. i tried blue thread-lock... and now that one failed too. i think heat is my problem. im not sure why, but it feels like it's getting too hot, and the thread-lock just melted away, there was no sign of thread-lock when i took the set screw off.

luckily, there is a man named Mr. Permatex, who makes high temp red thread-lock for sprocket bolts and crankshafts. so unless this pinion hits anywhere near 450 degree Fahrenheit, it isnt moving.
since i was out, and it was a nice day, i thought i can take some posing shots before heading in to go out and buy the thread-lock.. aannnnndd let the pictars BEGIN!
